This project was done on a 100+ year old house. The work included remodelling of a kitchen, 2 bathrooms, laundry area, and enclosing an unheated porch of about 160 sq ft. A deck was replaced and enlarged and numerous windows were replaced. Paul helped us initially in nailing down what we wanted to do. He taught us a lot about the options and the pros and cons of different materials and techniques. He was willing to accompany us to look at materials and fixtures.

We were able to establish a budget early on that seemed to meet our needs for the minimum project. The quality of the work convinced us to go ahead and do a bit more than we initially expected.Paul brought the crew to the site, together, early on, to meet us and to size up the job. He was very professional from the start and clearly was acquainted with code requirements and the importance of meeting those. All inspections were passed at each step with no hitches. All crews that Paul brought on site were prompt and professional in their work also.

There was a team of one electrician, plumber, dry wallers--about 7 people who were at my house by 8:30 a.m. and completed the entire job by 3 p.m. They worked quickly and professionally and the results were exactly what I wanted. Next day, Paul called to make sure the washer/dryer were working well and I was happy.

We found Paul on Angies List and we never regretted our decision. Paul took a personal interest in our project, guiding us through a vast array of design alternatives and vendors. His crew was top notch and took every step to insure quality and our overall satisfaction.

Paul Donahue of Donahue Enterprises oversaw the entire kitchen remodeling project, which included demolition of the old kitchen, installation of new flooring, demo of a wall and design of a new peninsula between the kitchen and the dining room, and installation of backsplash tile. In addition, Paul coordinated and oversaw sub-contractors for installation of new lighting, plumbing, installation of cabinets and countertops, appliance installation, and gas line installation with a vent to the outside.

We will not forget the day we learned that our countertop, purchased from a local "big box" store, could not be manufactured in time to meet our deadline - a family Christmas Eve party. The unexpected delay was entirely out of our hands, so Paul suggested a local granite countertop company and offered to drive us out to their showroom. The end result - we found a perfect piece of in-stock granite to replace the quartz we had originally selected; it was within our budget; and it would be installed well in advance of the party.

Today, we are thoroughly enjoying our beautiful new kitchen. We realize now that things might have been easier if we had brought Paul in at the start of the project to advise us on the overall concept, but we are impressed with how well he worked with the design decisions we had already made. The end result is outstanding, and we wouldn't hesitate for an instant to recommend Donahue Enterprises, Inc. to others. In fact, I'm sure we'll call on Paul for future projects, ourselves.

Paul has high standards with respect to quality of work and attention to detail. Pleasant to work with, Paul spent a lot of time taking us to various vendors (we are new to the area), pointing out the pros and cons of various products and services, and giving us an appropriate amount of guidance in making selections. We were very pleased with the process and the outcome of this project.

Remodeled a one bathroom that included installing a new vanity that involved plumbing, electrical and trim carpentry. Installed tile floors in the remodeled bath and a tile floor in a second bath. In each instance encountered rotten subflooring that needed to be replaced. The quality was excellent.

Paul and his team gutted and remodeled our kitchen, laundry room and one of our bathrooms. We also had wallpaper removal and painting done throughout our home. It was an understandably long process, but Paul was very professional and made sure we were very happy with the outcome, which we are!

Paul Donahue was brought in by our insurance company to handle the rebuild after a very large tree fell on our house. Roof rafters were rebuilt, the roof re-shingled, exterior walls repaired and sided, windows replaced, sheet rock replaced, painting and all work necessary to restore the interior and exterior of two bedrooms on one end of the house. We were so impressed with our contractor and his subcontractors that we hired him to tackle what became a whole-house interior remodel.
